Captain Gene Maly is originally from Prague, Czech Republic. In spite of originating from a landlocked country, he has been ocean sailing for over 35 years in Monterey and many parts of the world and logged over 150,000 nautical miles. He has sailed throughout the Carribean, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, South Pacific and Hawaii either cruising or racing.
